Recently, some
people consult me about underground metal detectors. The most two common
questions are how much it is and how many meters? Here I make a complete
explain on the second question.
Firstly, science
and technology can not completely solve all the problems. Experience is the
key. For example, we bought a pistol. Those people who don't use a handgun
before will don't hit the target every time. What he need do is to continue to
learn and become familiar with this gun performance.
Secondly, the
theory distances have big difference with the real distances. Take MD-5008 for
example, when we test the distance of MD-5008, we put a 60 cents coin into dry
soil and the detecting depth is 3 meters. But in real operation, around
environment will have great effect on result, such as damp soil, small metals
and age-old object. So even it lays underground 30 centimeters, we can't detect
it and this is normal case. Therefore, we don't compare the distance on good
condition with the real detecting depth.
